Readers and members of The Novel Tea community — we are so excited to share with you our theme for Season 4 of the podcast: Beyond Borders. We will be thinking about borders as physical realities and as social constructs, delving into books that explore history, colonialism, immigration, class, race, sexuality, and more. We’re eager to talk about some of these themes on the podcast, and explore them further here on the newsletter.
Our previous themes for our first three seasons have been: The American Dream, Around the World in 8-Tea Books, and Other Worlds. So it was only fitting that we expand our horizons even further to go beyond all these borders.
The first episode of Season 4 will be out on August 21st, and in that episode you’ll get to hear all the books we’ll be reading for the rest of the year. We have some great books in store for you and we can’t wait for you to read along with us!
